„Beauty meets talent“ (BBC) – The British-German award-winning Zeitgeist Duo inspires with addictively passionate playing style of classical highlights, romantic greats, Tango Argentino, movie-soundtracks and Pop & Soul.

Violinist Angelika Löw-Beer and pianist Marina Lieberman present an innovative programme of familiar tunes paired with classical elegance and fulminant virtuosity.

Their repertoire ranges from the sophisticated - classical and baroque music of Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Vivaldi, to the more light-hearted – Latin American tangos and arrangements of modern classics by John Williams and Rolf Lovland. Their unique interpretation and choice of pieces made the girls performing from concert halls to Jazz Clubs across the world. The duo was invited to perform at the Guildhall Concert Series London, Hercules Hall Munich, Riverhouse Walton-on-Thames, William Goodenough Hall, Bull’s Head and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Clubs London. The girls are also resident musicians at the renowned Bar des Arts in Guildford, Surrey, UK. In 2014 Zeitgeist Duo signed a contract with Cunard and P&O for main-act performances on their worldwide voyages 2014, 2015 and 2016 with both classical and cross-over programmes.


Angelika Löw-Beer, violin and Marina Lieberman, piano formed the duo over ten years ago in Germany and are now based in London. The girls just released their debut CD 2016!

Angelika graduated from Franz-Liszt School of Music in Weimar 2012 and continues her postgraduate studies at Guildhall School of Music and Drama London. Angelika is laureate of national and international competitions like ‘Anemos’ International Competition Rome 2012 or Malta International competition. She received scholarships from the Temple University Philadelphia, the New Liszt Trust Weimar and Rotary international. Furthermore she received a fellowship of the Yale University. She has been working with world-renowned violin teachers such as Prof. Dr. Eichhorn, Prof. Brandis, Prof. Schmieder and is currently studying with Prof. Ross. Angelika has performed as a soloist with diverse orchestras such as Jena Philharmonie and Capella Academica Berlin. She played with the International Mahler Orchestra and the German National Theater Weimar. She appeared at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and at SWR ’Schwetzinger Festspiele’. Last season she toured with Young Euro Classics Orchestra to Asia. Angelika plays a Ceruti violin from 1882.

Marina’s sophisticated and original performing talent encompasses a rich variety of styles and genres. She completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Piano from Nuremberg School of Music having won scholarships to attend both the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute New York and the University of Music Augsburg from which she graduated with Masters of Music Degree in 2011. Russian-born Marina was titled the ’Most Promising Young Pianist’ in Saint Petersburg and has won the First Federal Prize of Germany and the Steinway Piano Competition in Munich, Germany. She performed on Chinese Central Television, at the German National Theater Berlin, the State Opera Munich and played with Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Marina has also been sharing her experience as a renowned piano teacher by nurturing emerging talent. EMI Music UK have recognised Marina’s expertise and employed her to developing their child prodigies. She also teaches regularly in London and is founder and director at Music Teachers London.
